Sweet Little Swirls Scrolling through my Lightroom files today and realized I never posted this shot of Elakala Falls #2 - Blackwater Falls State Park, WV. This is a fun one to shoot but take my word for it when I say BE CAREFUL! Lots of slick rocks that can be a bit tricky to navigate 😛. Good thing my hubby was with me to help me get to where I needed to be. Love the two swirls at the bottom of the falls. Wow…time sure is flying by! So fast I almost missed April’s “Pink” full moon 😳. Remembered just in time to run up to the end of the driveway and catch a few shots. I had little to work with for composition but I had fun anyway. The first image is my favorite ❤️. It represents how fast the months are passing by. I love the way the moon looks like a super bright sunstar in the sky. 🌟 Image 2 is a good close up of the moon, and Image 3 is my fun edit as the “Pink” moon. “Oak Lane” Take a stroll with me along an azalea lined path beneath ancient oaks draped in Spanish moss and lined with lush green resurrection ferns. I’ve tried for several years to make it to @magnoliaplantation during peak azalea bloom. This year I was fortunate to hit it perfectly in time and I was extra blessed to have enough cloud cover to make this image possible. I believe I spent a good hour or two under these oaks, just soaking up the beauty 🌺 Take a moment to just breathe and enjoy the scenery.
